How to add your team to a Business and give them roles

Give staff the access they need without sharing your account. Each person signs in with their own TBBN account, and you choose a role that matches their job. Some roles can also be limited to particular locations.

Roles

RoleWhat they can doCan be limited to locations
OwnerEverything, including deleting the Business. The person who created it—
AdminEverything except deleting the Business: the team, payouts, billing, locations, Spaces, API keysNo
Account managerLocations, Spaces, pricing, bookings and guests, plus billing, earnings and refundsNo
OperationsLocations, Spaces, pricing, calendars, bookings, check-ins and guest messages. No moneyYes
AccountantBilling and plan, statements, earnings and refunds. Can see bookings but can't edit SpacesNo
DeveloperSandbox API keys and webhooks. Can see bookings and billing but can't change themNo
SupportSees bookings and answers guest messagesYes
Front deskSees bookings, checks guests and members in, confirms drop-offs and pickups, and answers guest messagesYes
ViewerRead-only: bookings, billing and earningsYes

Only the Owner and Admins can add, change or remove people, connect a payout account, or create live (production) API keys.

Merchant accounts have their own team on merchants.tbbnetwork.com — see Merchant dashboard.

Step 1: get their Account ID

Ask the person to:

  1. Sign in on tbbnetwork.com (or create an account).
  2. Open My trades (their account page) and select Copy next to Account ID.
  3. Send it to you.

Step 2: add them

  1. Go to business.tbbnetwork.com and open your Business.
  2. Under Team → Add someone, paste their Account ID and choose a Role. The description under the role says what it can do.
  3. For Operations, Support, Front desk or Viewer, choose Locations:
    • Every location, or
    • Only these locations, then tick the ones they work at.
  4. Select Add to team.

They can now use the parts of business.tbbnetwork.com and space.tbbnetwork.com their role allows. Someone limited to some locations sees only those locations, their Spaces, bookings and guest messages.

You can also manage the team from account.tbbnetwork.com → Overview → Team for that Business.

Change or remove someone

  • To change a role or locations, choose a new Role next to their name (or open Change locations), then select Save.
  • To remove someone, select Remove. They lose access straight away.

The Owner can't be removed or given another role.

What your team sees

When someone signs in to business.tbbnetwork.com or space.tbbnetwork.com, Businesses they're on the team of are listed alongside their own, with their role.

Tips

  • Give front-desk staff Front desk, limited to their location — they can run check-ins and drop-offs without seeing money.
  • Give your bookkeeper Accountant, so they can handle billing, statements and refunds without editing your Spaces.
  • Give your developer Developer, not Admin. They can work with sandbox keys and webhooks; an Admin creates the live key when you're ready.
  • Remove people when they leave, and rotate any API keys they had access to.
