How to create a Business on TBBN

A Business is your business profile on TBBN. You need one to host a TBBN Space or to run a Merchant account. One person can own more than one Business, and a Business can have many locations (branches).

Individual or registered business?

Pick Registered business if you might ever add trading to a store. Pick Individual if you're hosting as a person — for example renting a desk at home or a corner of a space you manage alone.

Before you start

  • Verify your identity. The form won't open until you have.
  • Have the legal name and country of incorporation (registered) or your country of residence (individual) ready.

Steps

  1. Go to business.tbbnetwork.com. If you're not signed in, you're sent to tbbnetwork.com and back.
  2. Open Businesses (business.tbbnetwork.com/dashboard).
  3. The first time, read and accept the Business Profile Agreement when it appears.
  4. Choose Individual (you, trading as yourself) or Registered business.
  5. Enter the Business name and, optionally, a Description.
  6. For a registered business, enter the Legal entity name.
  7. Choose the Country of incorporation (or of residence) — it's needed before Stripe Connect.
  8. Select Create Business.

Your Business appears in the list. Select it to open its settings page.

Get it verified

A new Business is unverified. Guests see an Unverified badge on its Spaces, and it can't open a Merchant account until it's verified.

The quickest way to verify is to complete Stripe Connect on the Business's page — see Set up payouts. When Stripe confirms your details, your Business is verified automatically.

You can also add Legal details on the Business page — Legal entity name, Registration number, Tax ID and country — and select Save details. Once the Business is verified, any change asks for a code TBBN emails you: enter it and select Verify & save.

What next?

Common questions

I chose Individual but now I need a Merchant account. Create a second Business as a Registered business. Your first one can keep hosting Spaces.

What's a franchise invitation? A brand running several businesses can invite yours into its franchise group. You'll see Franchise invitation on your Business page — Accept or Decline. Your Business keeps its own payouts either way.
