How to become a TBBN Space host

Host a TBBN Space and earn from space you already have — a table at your café, a corner of your shop, a coworking desk or meeting room. Guests book and pay on TBBN; you're paid out weekly through Stripe Connect.

Listing a Space is free. You earn the price you set, less TBBN's commission (a free Space carries a flat listing fee instead) — see the pricing reference.

Shortcut: go to space.tbbnetwork.com and select Get started. It checks how far you've got and sends you to the next step.

The checklist

1. Create your TBBN account

Sign up on tbbnetwork.com. It's the same account for every TBBN site.

2. Verify your identity

Hosting means looking after other people's items and bookings, so hosts must be verified people. Verify your identity — about three minutes with an ID and a selfie.

3. Create a Business

On business.tbbnetwork.com, create a Business. Choose Individual (you, trading as yourself) if you're hosting as a person, or Registered business for a company. Both can host Spaces. See Create a Business.

4. Connect payouts with Stripe

On your Business's page, under Stripe Connect, select Start Stripe Connect and complete Stripe's form. This is how you get paid, and completing it verifies your Business. See Set up payouts. Earnings build up even before you finish, and are paid in the first payout after you connect.

5. Add your location and turn on TBBN Space

On your Business's Branches page, add the address where guests will come, then select Not enabled next to it under TBBN Space so it shows Enabled. See Locations.

6. Create your first Space

  1. Go to space.tbbnetwork.com and open My Spaces. Your enabled location is listed — open it.
  2. Under Add a Space, enter a Name (for example "Meeting Room A"), choose a Category and How guests find their spot, then select Add Space.
    • The first time, you're asked to accept the Space Host Agreement.

7. Set it up and go live

Open the new Space and:

  1. Set a price for each kind of booking you offer.
  2. Add photos, notes, amenities and parking details.
  3. Check your refund and no-show policy.
  4. Set Status to Live — guests can find and book it and select Save profile.

See Set up a Space for every option.

8. Run it day to day

Approve requests, check guests in, handle drop-offs and see your earnings — see Running your Space.

Optional extras

When do I get paid?

You earn on a booking once the guest completes it, or is a no-show under your policy. After a short window in which the guest can report a problem, the earning goes out in the next Monday payout (08:00 Pacific time) to the bank account connected through Stripe.
