How to set up payouts with Stripe Connect

TBBN pays Space hosts and affiliates through Stripe Connect. You connect once per Business, and every location the Business runs shares that one payout account. Completing it also verifies your Business. TBBN never sees or stores your bank details — Stripe collects and checks them.

Who can do it

The Business's owner or an Admin. Your identity must be verified and the Business must have its country set.

Steps

Go to business.tbbnetwork.com, open Businesses and select your Business.
Under Stripe Connect, select Start Stripe Connect. Stripe opens in a new tab.
On Stripe's page, follow each step. Stripe usually asks for:
- your email and mobile number (Stripe may text you a code),
- the business type and details — legal name, address, registration or tax number for a company,
- the representative's or owner's name, date of birth, address and the last digits of a government ID number (in some countries Stripe asks for an ID photo),
- the bank account payouts go to.
Review and Submit. Stripe sends you back to TBBN.
Refresh the Business page. The Stripe Connect badge shows the status.

Badge	Meaning
NOT_STARTED	You haven't started — select Start Stripe Connect
PENDING	Stripe is checking, or needs more information — select Start Stripe Connect again to finish
COMPLETE	Payouts are on and your Business is verified

Details submitted to Stripe means you've finished the form and Stripe is reviewing it.

To change your bank account or details later, select Update Stripe details.

When do payouts arrive?

You earn on a booking once it's completed (or the guest is a no-show under your policy).
The earning becomes payable after a short window in which the guest can report a problem — and is held while a report about that booking is open.
Payable earnings go out every Monday at 08:00 Pacific time. Your bank then takes its usual time to show the money.
Earnings build up before you connect, and are paid in the first payout after you do.

Each Space's page shows its earnings under Payouts (Branch-level), and your Business's Billing page shows Space earnings — money already paid out to you, not something you owe.

Common questions

I see a warning about the representative. The person named on Stripe doesn't match the Business owner on TBBN. It doesn't block payouts, but TBBN may contact you to confirm.

Stripe says it needs more information. Select Start Stripe Connect (or Update Stripe details) and Stripe takes you straight to what's missing.

Can each location have its own bank account? No — one payout account per Business. Run a separate Business for a location that needs separate payouts.
