How to link your TBBN account to a store you sell on

Some stores and marketplaces use TBBN to let their sellers trade. If you sell on one of them, the store may ask you to link your TBBN account. Linking lets trades started on the store's site complete through your TBBN account, so your trades, offers and reputation stay in one place.

You need your own TBBN account first — a store can't create one for you. Create one if you haven't.

Steps

On the store's site, choose its option to connect or link TBBN. The store sends you to account.tbbnetwork.com.
If you aren't signed in, you're sent to tbbnetwork.com to sign in, then back.
The page Link your TBBN account shows which store is asking: "[Store] wants to link your TBBN marketplace profile so trades started on their site can complete through TBBN. Your password and account details are never shared with them."
Select Approve to link, or Deny to refuse.
You're sent back to the store's site. It tells you whether the link worked.

What the store gets — and doesn't

The store can start and complete trades for you through TBBN, using its own listings of your items.
It doesn't get your sign-in details, and it can't sign in as you or change your TBBN account.
It can't edit listings you created yourself on TBBN — and you can't edit the store's listings of your items on TBBN; change those on the store.

Common questions

I see "This link looks malformed — the redirect address is not registered for this app." The link didn't come from a store TBBN recognises, or it was changed. Don't approve anything — go back to the store and start again from its site, or contact the store.

I selected Deny by mistake. Start again from the store's site.

How do I unlink a store? On tbbnetwork.com, open Your account → Settings → Linked stores, select Unlink next to the store, then Unlink store. Your listings from that store stop showing on TBBN. If a trade through that store is still in progress, finish or cancel it first — you'll see "You have a trade in progress through this store." You can link again later from the store's site.

Do I need to link to trade on TBBN itself? No. Linking is only for trading through a store.
