How to list an item to sell or trade on TBBN

A listing puts one of your items on the TBBN marketplace for sale, for trade, or both. Listing is free.

Steps

Sign in on tbbnetwork.com, open My trades (your account page) and select List an item (or go to tbbnetwork.com/listings/new). The page is called Create a listing.
Fill in the details:

Field	What to enter
Title	What it is, plainly — e.g. "Vintage leather jacket"
Category	Start typing and pick a suggestion, e.g. Apparel
Subcategory (optional)	e.g. Outerwear
Brand (optional)	The maker or label
Condition (optional)	e.g. New, Used - Good, Used - Fair
Price and Currency	What the item is worth to you
List for	Sale or trade — either works, Sale only, or Trade only
Who can see this	Everyone on TBBN, or only members of one of your Organizations
Delivery	Local pickup or shipping, Local pickup only, or Shipping only
Asking extra (optional)	Cash you'd want on top in a swap — only shown for trades. See Trade value
Willing to add (optional)	Cash you'd add on top in a swap — only shown for trades
Description (optional)	Condition details, size, flaws — and what you'd like in return
Photos (optional)	Up to 10 JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF images. Select × on a photo to remove it

Select Publish listing.

Most listings go live straight away and appear in Your listings on your account page.

If TBBN asks you to check your listing

TBBN doesn't allow prohibited or controlled items — drugs, weapons, counterfeits, stolen goods and similar (see the Terms). If something in your listing looks like one of those, you see Check this before it goes live. You can:

select Edit my listing and change the wording, or
if you're sure it's allowed, explain what it is under If you're sure it's allowed, tell our reviewer what it is (for example "It's a toy foam gun for kids"), then select Submit for review.

A listing under review is saved but not public. We email you as soon as it's live, or tell you why it can't be listed.

Edit a listing

On your account page, find the listing under Your listings and select Edit. Make your changes and select Save changes. Changes are checked the same way as a new listing before they go live.

You can't edit a listing while it's reserved in a trade. Listings that came from a store you sell through are edited on that store, not on TBBN.

Mark an item Pending or Sold

Under Your listings, set the status:

Available — on the marketplace.
Pending — a trade or sale is in progress. The item leaves the marketplace but stays on your account page.
Sold — it's gone. It stays in your history.

Tips for a listing that gets offers

Take clear photos in good light, from more than one angle. Show any flaws.
Be honest about condition — it avoids disputes later.
Say what you'd like in return in the description.
Price it realistically. The value of a swap is worked out from your price — see Trade value.
