How to join your school or workplace on TBBN (Organizations)

An Organization is a school, university, employer or community on TBBN. Join yours by verifying an email address from it — for example you@school.edu. Members can see listings only fellow members can see, and post listings just to them.

Join an Organization

1. Sign in on tbbnetwork.com and open My trades (your account page).
2. Find Emails & organizations ("Add your school or work email to join its space on TBBN").
3. Select Add an email, type your school or work email (for example you@school.edu) and select Send code.
4. Enter the 6-digit code from that inbox (Enter the 6-digit code we emailed) and select Verify. The email now shows ✓ verified.
5. Under You can join, select Join next to your Organization.

It now appears under Your organizations.

If nothing appears under You can join, your school or employer isn't on TBBN yet. The email stays on your account, so you can join as soon as it is.

Post a listing only members can see

When you list an item, set Who can see this to Only [Organization] members. Only fellow members can see it and make offers. Choose Everyone on TBBN to list it publicly instead.

Leave an Organization

Under Your organizations, select Leave. You stop seeing its members-only listings.

To remove the verified email itself, select Remove next to it.

Common questions

Who runs an Organization? The school, employer or community itself. It decides who may join and can restrict, suspend or remove members under its own rules.

Can I belong to more than one? Yes — add and verify an email for each.

My Organization removed me — can TBBN reverse it? No. Membership decisions belong to the Organization; contact it directly.
